Community Support for Refugees
Established in 2021, Open Catskills is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting refugees and asylum seekers making their home in Delaware County, New York.
Our work is community driven—neighbors helping new neighbors with investments of time, care, and resources. In doing so, we demonstrate how our corner of the world can share its abundance with people fleeing difficult situations in search of a place to thrive. This spirit of openness and solidarity is at the core of our organization’s name, approach, and efforts.
