Support refugee students at SUNY Delhi

Together with SUNY Delhi and Welcome Corps on Campus, Open Catskills welcomed two high-achieving high-school students from the Dadaab refugee camps in Kenya to study nursing at SUNY Delhi starting Fall 2024. Your support will help cover tuition, housing, meals, books, lab fees, and living expenses for the duration of their studies.

Legal Help for Asylum Seekers

We ask for your help to establish and maintain a fund to pay for legal assistance for asylum seekers. We are partnering with the Mohawk Valley Region project to expand legal capacity in our historically underserved rural area and to help our supportees make their case for asylum and permanent residence.
